He completed his undergraduate degree at the University of North Carolina School of Medicine where he graduated with honors. His Otoloryngology residency took him to the University of Pittsburgh Eye and Ear Hospital, and he completed his fellowship training in Neurotology and Otology at the renowned House Ear Institute in Los Angeles, CA.
Throughout his professional career spanning over 25 years, he has specialized exclusively on disorders of the ear, hearing and balance, and he receives referrals from all over the Southeast to handle some of the most challenging ear disorders.
Because of his expertise, Dr. Rodgers has published articles, authored textbook chapters, and has been invited to lecture at educational seminars. He maintains membership in medical societies that focus on his specialty.
